Claude Code, OpenCode, and Codex can all run Superpowers, but there are significant differences:

Skill Override Example

If the project directory has .opencode/skills/brainstorming/, it will completely override Superpowers' brainstorming skill.

Force Load Official Skills

Even if you have a personal skill with the same name, using the superpowers: prefix forces loading the official skill:

On each session start, the session-start.sh script automatically injects the using-superpowers skill content.

Codex No Auto Hook

Codex doesn't support automatic hooks, requiring manual Bootstrap command execution on each session start.

OpenCode: Best for Multi-Platform Users
